Flo.

Two obvious choices for partying: LA, NYC.

But if you're stuck in Florida, can't jet-set for weekends and still want to see kids in their fanciest American Apparel wear, I got the next best thing. I figured this would make for an interesting topic just because most blogs consist of things people know about, like to be pretentious about and like to talk about. Not so much parties in their area (unless it's a show of interest), or things they do on the regular. Well sometimes I can be seen shakin it, so I thought I'd give you some links and info. Plus I never pay cover and I'm not on the street team so I figure I could give back some free advertisement.

[And if you're lucky you can get your picture taken for the website all Cobrasnake like!]

All of these nights are lead by DJ Pauly Crush, with the same trio of DJ names on every night, with some special guests and other residents, respectively.
All indie/electro/dance nights.
Songs you know, just remixed, with some Justice and crunk thrown in there. Act a foo' yep!

Speaking of Justice, you that song "D.A.N.C.E"?
The really catchy one specialized for Michael Jackson that everyone and their mother keeps remixing?
Well, I got em.

And don't be greedy, submit other ones you have.

Time to take a shower. Keep d.a.n.c.i.n.g folks.
P.S Yes yes, clothing post soon! Shut up.

Fier d'ĂȘtre.

If you're familiar with the France music scene, you know that out of the 60 million people that live there, about 50 million of them with any sort of motor skill can pull some ridiculous music out of their ass. Must be the lack of preservatives.
Anyway, aside from my usual three dance nights I drunkly drag myself to every week, I occasionally go to shows here and there.
To my excitement, the Institubes [presents] Paris Terror Club Tour hit up Orlando at Club Firestone yesterday night.
Paris Terror Club = Surkin, Para One, Orgasmic, Curses = love.
Unfortunately for the venue, fortunately for my anxiety, the turn out was less than desirable. Off the top of my head, I'm guessing maybe 250. The intimacy of screaming, bouncing people squished together on the stage surrounding the DJ booth made up for the lack of nobodys that would have shown up anyway. I'd say besides for a few stragglers, it was the norm crew of SaturdayThursday. Regardless, the performance that stood out the most and that closed it down was Para One, whom, excuse my "french", rocked our fucking faces. I got really annoyed at the body odor around me, the jumping-up-and-down people that elbowed me in the face a few times, but hey, the French guy with the ponytail was hot and at some point I was driven to find me some X.

...you're welcome.
